George Worsdale

George Worsdale

George Worsdale was born in 1883 at Langham, near Oakham. He was injured on the Somme in 1916 and honourably discharged from the Army in 1919.

On medical advice, he moved to Landyke Lane Farm in 1931. He died in 1952 and is buried at Ab Kettleby.

His granddaughter, Valerie Warwick, still lives on Landyke Lane.
